This site belongs to KJ Bolden ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use kjbolden.com, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to reply, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the partner form, we get your name, company, email, the kind of work you picked, and anything you write in the message box.
- The K4 Club. If you join the K4 Club, we get your first name and email address. Your name goes on the member card your browser makes for you. That image is made on your device and we don't store it.
- Basic technical data. Like any website, our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time). We don't run ad trackers or sell data to advertisers.
- One small browser setting. We store a note in your browser's session storage so the intro video doesn't replay every time you reload. It's deleted when you close the tab.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your inquiry, and to follow up about that inquiry.
- If you joined the list, to email you updates like film, photos and news from KJ. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep records of partnership conversations, including the reporting college athletes are required to do for NIL deals.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't use your information for anything else, and we never sell or rent it.
Who we share it with
- KJ's team, the people who handle his partnerships.
- Service providers that run the site and deliver email for us (website hosting and an email delivery service). They process data only to provide those services.
- Compliance. If an inquiry becomes an NIL deal, some details may be reported as required by NCAA, conference or university rules, or by law.
- Legal reasons, if we're required to by law or need to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting agreement, plus whatever records we're required to keep. List emails stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. Email hello@kjbolden.com and we'll handle it. To leave the list, use the unsubscribe link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state's privacy law, and we'll honor them.
Kids
This site is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
Links to Instagram, news sites and other services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
